Frontier College is Canada's original literacy organization. In Moncton, we recruit volunteers to work with learners in the following literacy programs. We screen and train all of our volunteers before they go into the community. Forest Glen School Homework Club (bilingual)
Tutors work with students from this school to help them with reading, writing, math and homework projects.
Homework Club for Newcomers at the Multicultural Association of the Greater Moncton Area (MAGMA) (bilingual)
Tutors work with newcomer children and youth on homework and French or English language skills.
Boys & Girls Club Homework and Reading Club (bilingual)
Tutors help kids attending the after-school program with reading and homework.
Family Literacy Program for Newcomers at the Multicultural Association of the Greater Moncton Area (MAGMA) (bilingual)
Tutors work with newcomers to improve their literacy skills through interactive reading and writing activities.
Youth One-to-One Tutoring at the Boys and Girls Club (bilingual)
Tutors help high school students with their school work, reading, writing, organizational skills, etc.
